NOTICE OF PRE-HEARING CONFERENCE

A pre-hearing conference in the above-entitled matter is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20 2026, at 10:30 a.m., via virtual platform, concerning Harford Chapel Solar, LLC’s application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to construct a 5.0 MW solar photovoltaic generating facility in Harford County, Maryland.

Anyone wishing to observe the live stream of the hearing may do so via the Public Utility Law Judge Division’s YouTube channel, https://bit.ly/2X6wLiP. At the pre-hearing conference, any preliminary matters will be discussed, including consideration of any petitions to intervene that have been filed, and the establishment of a procedural schedule.

Petitions to intervene must be filed by Tuesday, January 13, 2026 and may be filed electronically through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us, or by first-class mail with the Commission’s Executive Secretary, Andrew S. Johnston, Maryland Public Service Commission, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202-6806, and must reference Case No. 9829. NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT HEARING

A public comment hearing in the above-entitled matter is scheduled for Thursday, January 22 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Comfort Inn Conference Center, 4500 Crain Highway, Bowie, Maryland, 20716, concerning PG Vermillion Solar, LLC’s application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (“CPCN”) from the Maryland Public Service Commission (the “Commission”). 

The hearing will begin with a presentation by the Applicant, followed by a presentation by the Department of Natural Resources, Power Plan Research Program (“PPRP”) of its recommendations with respect to the Project; and the Technical Staff of the Public Service Commission of Maryland (“Staff”) as to their recommendations regarding the Project.

 Written comments on the proposed Project may be submitted electronically through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us, or by first-class mail with the Commission’s Chief Clerk, Jamie Bergin, Maryland Public Service Commission, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202, and must reference Case No. 9793. Comments may be filed through Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Pursuant to the Commission’s March 13, 2020 Notice of Waiver and Relaxed Filing Requirements, no paper copies need be submitted if the filing is public in nature and no more than 25 pages in length.
